About the artist:
Philip Newsom earned his BFA in illustration at Art Center
College of Design in Pasadena, CA, in 2000. The
next year he returned to Colorado. Since then he has continued
to practice his craft as an illustrator, painter and muralist. He
has painted numerous commissioned landscapes and animal
portraits, and has been represented by various fine art galleries
in Crested Butte, Evergreen and Denver.
